Modern holiday home in Hermigua

The modern holiday home "Julietta" is a comfortable and spacious house with the best views in La Gomera, over the Atlantic up to Mount Teide (3718 m) on Tenerife. With an all glass facade, you can enjoy the view from every room. At an altitude of 100 m the climate is pleasant all year. Exploring nature (hiking especially), swimming or simply relaxing and enjoying the view are the things to do.

We welcome you with organic fruit and local white wine – it’s excellent! – in the in/outside dining area. You will find a sparkling clean, new and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, kitchen aid, expresso and coffee machine (washing machine and ironing board in the basement). Our housekeeper will greet you and help you with anything you may need.

There are two bedrooms with super king-size beds and private bathrooms (one with bath and another with shower) and adjoining balconies. A third bedroom with bunk beds is meant for kids.

The upstairs living room has awesome furniture (Togo by Ligne Roset). Relax and enjoy the view over the valley and the ocean. Or take the stairs that lead to a large rooftop terrace with sun lounges.

The accommodation "Julietta" in Hermigua is recently built, functionally equipped, has white walls, design furniture and spectacular views. It’s a modern house with open spaces, windows from floor to ceiling, full of light.

Schöne Unterkunft

Sehr großzügiges Haus mit moderner Einrichtung. Waren sehr schöne Tage. Einziges Manko: Es waren viele kleine Ameisen in Küche und Bad. Ansonsten würden wir diese Unterkunft sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Danke für die Bewertung der Casa Julietta in Hermigua.
Die winzigen Ameisen sind auf La Gomera in den Sommermonaten leider allgegenwärtig. Die Hausbesitzer bemühen sich natürlich immer, das ohne allzu viele giftige Substanzen im Rahmen zu halten. Am besten ist es, keine Lebensmittel oder Reste offen liegen zu lassen. Immer alles wegräumen und einpacken. Damit bekommt man es ganz gut in den Griff. Mit mangelnder Hausreinigung hat die Invasion der Mini-Ameisen nicht viel zu tun. Mit normalem Putzen lassen sie sich nämlich leider nicht verjagen.
Wir freuen uns, euch vielleicht wieder einmal auf La Gomera beherbergen zu dürfen.

Das Meer ist allgegenwärtig.....

....in diesem hellen, luftigen Haus. Man sieht praktisch von jedem Platz des Hauses auf den Teide und den Atlantik. Wunderschön! Wir waren die ersten Gäste in der Casa Julietta, es ist alles noch ganz neu und sehr sauber. Während unserem Aufenthalt gab es noch kein Internet, soll aber in Kürze auch vorhanden sein. Uns hat es nicht gefehlt, im Gegenteil - es war sehr entspannend mal ohne die übliche "Medienberieselung" auszukommen und stattdessen dem Meer oder den Sturmschnabeltauchern zu lauschen. Die Küche ist vorbildlich, sogar mit Backofen und echter Kaffeemaschine für guten Espresso. Einige Restaurants in Hermigua hatten Urlaub während unseres Aufenthaltes im Juli und so kam uns die gute Küchenausstattung sehr gelegen. Auch als größere Familie (wir haben 3 Kinder) hat man reichlich Platz im Haus, die Terrassen auf verschiedenen Wohnebenen bieten jedem sein privates Eck und die grosse offene Küche lädt zu gemütlichen Stunden am Esstisch ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter. Vielen Dank für alles!

Location in Hermigua

Holiday home "Julietta" is located in "La Castellana" in Hermigua on the street. Parking is available in the public parking areas. The house overlooks the banana plantations below and, in addition you enjoy the open view of the sea and the other side of the valley.

It’s only about an 600m walk to the beach, or to the nearest restaurant just a stone’s throw. There’s a supermarket at a good walking distance of 1km, or 2mins by car.

At least two trails can be started directly from the house - one trail leads along the beach via Lepe to Agulo and from there over the ‘red wall’ of Agulo to the viewpoint "Mirador del Abrante". In the other direction you can take a hike to the neighbouring valley. Over ‘El Moralito’ and’ El Palmar’ to the "Playa de la Caleta", a beautiful and comfortable tour.
