Holiday Home "Matilde 2" La Gomera

The best thing about the place is the view from the terrace, it's absolutely amazing. We enjoyed some fantastic sunrises and the afternoon sun with the view of the mountains and Teide. The owner was really friendly, offered us eggs from the chickens and fresh fruit. We had a small issue when he arrived and he came immediately and fixed it. The accommodation is rather basic, but clean.

In der Casa Matilde wurden wir von den Besitzern sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet und war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren.

Chouette endroit simple mais très propre. Bonne literie. Superbe vue sur les montagnes et la mer au loin. Complètement au calme. Seul point faible du logement : un peu sombre. Une terrasse pour manger et se reposer sur un transat. A 5 minutes en voiture de hermigua. 

Une très jolie maison canarienne dans les hauts de Hermingua. Une très belle vue sur la vallée d'Hermingua et de Teide. Un très bel endroit pour sejourner au calme sur l île de La gomera et faire de la randonnée. La maison est bien équipée

Die Tage im Casa Mathilde 2 waren sehr angenehm, das Haus sehr sauber und mit großer Terrasse und mit einem grandiosen Ausblick aufs Tal und den Teide. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Besitzer hat uns herzlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. 

Wunderschöne Aussicht. Ruhige Lage, direkt an einem Obstgarten.

Our stay was perfect, Francisco welcomed us at very short notice which Gerlinde sorted out for us, we were greeted with fresh mango, banana and guava from the gardens! The house is very high up from the valley bottom but is a beautiful walk up from the nearest bakery and bar. Perfect base for exploring the island! We'll be back!

Schön gelegenes, gemütliches Haus , ein großartiger Gastgeber , unkomplizierte Kommunikation und man sieht den Teide von der Terasse aus! Das Parken ist etwas abenteuerlich aber man gewöhnt sich schnell daran. Hermigua ist malerisch und ein guter Ausgangsort um Gomera zu erkunden. Dank an Canarienfeeling, danke Gerlinde.

very great place, very clean, and well placed for the hiking trails. is not close to the shops so you have to drive everywhere from the house or walk up a big hill. we were travelling with a baby and the floor was a bit cold for him, so maybe not ideal for little kids, it can also get quite cold in the evenings and there is not really any heating in the place so you will need to bring warm clothes! would recommend this place for good simple acccommodation. there are no basic supplies so you will need to bring everything, including soap and all kitchen supplies (salt, pepper, tea coffee, sugar, oil, milk etc...)

Es ist ein schönes Häuschen mit allem was man braucht. Durch die erhöhte Lage hat man eine schöne Aussicht über das Tal, sogar el Teide kann man sehen. In Hermigua ist es nicht so touristisch wie beispielsweise im Valle Gran Rey. Daher wohnt man hier in direkter Nachbarschaft mit den Gomeros. Gerlinde war immer erreichbar und hat uns gemeinsam mit dem Hausbesitzer einen schönen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Die Restaurant-Tipps waren super, das El Faro möchte ich allen Fischliebhabern absolut weiterempfehlen. :-) Vielen Dank Gerlinde.
